Private boat or shared fishing trip?
A shared (or "split") charter sells you seats on a boat with other anglers you don't know: you pay per person, the route and target species are set for the whole boat, and you share the rods and the fish box.
Every Baja Pass boat is a private charter — the whole boat, crew and route are yours, and you decide whether to chase marlin offshore or fill the cooler with dorado. Because the 50% comes off the full charter, split the member rate by your group before you compare: for four to six anglers, a private boat at half price is worth pricing against shared seats.
What's biting, month by month
There's no bad month to fish Cabo — only different targets. The general pattern (a good captain reads the current week's bite):

- Email hola@bajapass.com with your date, the size of your group and what you'd like to catch.
- We match the boat and confirm your member rate — half the fleet rate — for that date. Peak weeks (Christmas, New Year, spring break) fill first, so write a few days ahead.
What's on board
Every boat carries fishing rods and gear, plus snorkel equipment, a paddleboard and lily pad, towels and a sound system, so a slow bite can turn into a swim stop. The 50-foot-and-up yachts add a full kitchen, air conditioning and sundecks. Bring sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses.

Do you offer shared fishing charters in Los Cabos?
No. Every Baja Pass boat is a private charter for your group only. The 50% comes off the whole charter, so divide the member rate by the number of anglers to compare it with the per-seat price of a shared trip.
How much does a fishing charter cost with Baja Pass?

How many people can go fishing on one boat?
The 6 boats from 33 feet take up to 6 guests — the usual choice for a fishing crew. The larger yachts take up to 20, and the 100-foot flagship is set up for up to 8 in luxury.
Is fishing gear included?
Yes. All 11 boats carry fishing rods and gear, along with snorkel equipment and a paddleboard.
What can I catch in Cabo?
Striped marlin from November to May, blue marlin from June to September, black marlin in September and October, yellowfin tuna all year (best May to December), dorado from July to November and wahoo from August to November. October overlaps almost everything.
Does the discount cover my whole group?
Yes. Charters are priced per boat, not per person, so the 50% off the charter benefits everyone aboard.
